Contractor & Wholesale Countertop Fabrication in Austin, TX
Our team provides a turnaround you can write into your own schedule and a shop that answers the phone when your lead carpenter has a question, delivering tops cut to a template we took ourselves, under your company's name on the job, for both residential and commercial projects. We are licensed, insured and bonded, every top is cut on our own CNC in our own Austin shop, and the crew that sets it is ours, so the person your client meets on install day is accountable to you and to us.
From a single vanity cut to a cabinet shop's drawing to a whole house remodel with a kitchen, an island, three baths and a laundry, our team handles every detail. Serving remodelers and trades across Austin, Lakeway and Steiner Ranch, we quote in writing, hold the dates we give you, and hand the tops back clean and ready for your plumber.
How we work
Who this service is for
This page is for the people who buy countertops on behalf of someone else. A remodeler running three kitchens at once. A kitchen and bath designer who specifies the stone and needs it built exactly as drawn. A cabinet shop that builds the boxes and wants the tops to arrive on the same week. A handyman or tile setter whose client asked for a vanity top as part of a bathroom refresh. In every case the countertop is one line inside your job, and our job is to make that line boring: right size, right day, right edge, no surprises in front of your customer.
That is a different relationship from the one we have with a homeowner. When a homeowner calls us direct, we walk them through slab choice and layout from scratch on our countertop fabrication service for Austin homeowners. When you call us, most of those decisions have already been made by you or your designer, and what you need is a shop that executes them, keeps your client relationship intact, and does not try to sell your customer an upgrade behind your back.
It is also different from production work. Builders and apartment owners buying the same top for dozens of units are better served by our builder and multifamily countertop packages, which price by plan and by unit. This service is for custom, one-off and small-batch work, where every kitchen is a little different and the details are what you are paying for.
Shop drawings and submittals before anything is cut
A designer's elevation and a fabricator's cut file are two different documents, and the gap between them is where expensive mistakes live. Before we cut, you get a shop drawing for the job: a plan view of every top with dimensions, seam locations, overhangs, edge profile by run, and every cutout located and sized from the spec sheet of the actual sink, cooktop or faucet going in.
You or your designer mark it up, we revise it, and nothing goes to the saw until it comes back signed. On larger or lightly commercial jobs we can format the package as a submittal with material data and a sample, so it slots straight into your paperwork rather than becoming one more thing to retype.
The drawing is also the place to catch the things nobody caught on the plans: a dishwasher with no support at the end of a run, a range that needs more clearance than the cabinet allows, a seam that would fall right over a sink, an island overhang that needs a steel support rather than a pair of decorative corbels. We would rather send you an awkward question on a Tuesday than cut a slab that cannot be used.

Templating booked around your schedule
A countertop cannot be cut from drawings alone. It has to be cut from the cabinets as they were actually set, so the template date depends on your crew, not on ours. We book it the way you would book any other trade: you give us the day the boxes will be ready, we hold that day, and if the cabinets slip you call us before the date and the slot moves with you.
Before our templater arrives, the job needs a short list of things done. Cabinets set, level, fastened and shimmed. Sinks, faucets and cooktop on site or their spec sheets in hand. Any appliance that sits under or against the top delivered or confirmed by model number. Decisions made on overhangs, backsplash height and edge. If one of those is missing, a template still happens, but it produces a file we will have to revisit, and that costs everyone a trip.
Our templaters use a laser, and the file goes straight to the CNC in our shop. That matters on Austin remodels in particular. A lot of the older ranch homes around the central neighborhoods and out toward the Hill Country have walls that are nowhere near square and floors that have settled over decades. A digital template records the room as it is, so the top fits the wall rather than the drawing, and the scribe at the backsplash is tight on the first visit.
Fabricate-only or fabricate-and-install
Fabricate only
- For cabinet shops and contractors with their own setters. We template, cut, edge and polish in our Austin shop, then you collect the finished pieces or we deliver them to the site.
- Pieces leave the shop labelled by room and position, with seam faces protected and the shop drawing attached.
- You own the set, the seam and the sink attachment, so you control the install date completely.
Fabricate and install
- For remodelers and designers who want one accountable shop from template to final wipe down. Our crew sets, seams, levels and attaches the sinks.
- We coordinate the install day with your site lead, protect the floors and cabinets, and leave the space ready for plumbing trim.
- One firm written price covers it, so the install day carries no surprise line items.
Templating either way
- Whichever route you pick, we prefer to take the template ourselves, because a cut we did not measure is a cut we cannot stand behind.
Turnaround you can plan the rest of the job around
Most remodels have a gap in the middle that everyone dreads: cabinets in, no countertops, plumber waiting, client asking when they get their kitchen back. Our job is to make that gap short and predictable. Once the template is approved and the material is in our shop, fabrication typically runs five to ten working days, and we give you the install date when we confirm the template rather than leaving you to chase it.
What moves that window is usually material, not cutting. A stocked quartz color can go straight onto the schedule. A natural stone the client wants to pick by the slab, or a color that has to be ordered in, adds time before we can cut, and we will tell you how much at the quote stage so you can set your client's expectations once rather than three times.
When the job has more than one phase, say a kitchen now and baths after the tile setter, we can template once and cut in stages, or template each area as it becomes ready. Tell us how your crew wants to run it and we will fit the shop around that.

How trade accounts work
If you send us more than the occasional job, a trade account saves you from explaining yourself every time. We record your standing preferences once: your usual edge profile, your preferred undermount sink models and their reveal, your backsplash height, your overhang on islands and bars, how you like seams placed, and whether you want us to drill faucet holes or leave it to your plumber. New jobs start from those defaults, so a quote request can be as short as a drawing and a color.
Trade accounts also get consistent paperwork. Every quote comes back in the same format, itemized enough for you to mark it up for your client, and your client's name never needs to appear on our side unless you want it to. If you prefer that we stay invisible to the homeowner, we turn up as your countertop crew and talk to your site lead, not to your customer.
Pricing is set per job in writing from your drawings or our template, and the price on the quote is the price at install. The things that move a trade quote are the same things that move any countertop number: the material and how many slabs it takes, the thickness, the edge, the number of cutouts, and how complicated the access is. If you need help choosing between surfaces for a client, our guide to the stone and quartz materials we fabricate is a quick place to send them.
One contact, talking to your site lead
Most of the friction between a contractor and a countertop shop is communication, not workmanship. A question goes to the office, the office calls the templater, the templater is on another job, and by the time an answer comes back the plumber has left. We cut that chain short. Every trade job gets one named contact at our shop, and that person talks directly to whoever runs your site, whether that is you, your project manager or your lead carpenter.
You hear from us at the points that matter: template confirmed, shop drawing ready for sign off, material in, fabrication complete, install date confirmed, install done. If something changes on our side, a slab with a flaw in the wrong place or a delivery that slipped, you hear it from us first, with a new date and a reason, before your client notices.
On install day our crew checks in with your site lead before anything comes off the truck, confirms the plan, and walks the finished work with them before leaving. Any punch item is written down with a date to close it, not left as a promise in a driveway.

Austin conditions your countertop sub should already know
Trade work in Austin has a handful of local quirks, and a shop that knows them saves you callbacks.
Austin's tap water is hard, and the white mineral film it leaves around faucets and sink rims shows up fastest on dark polished stone and on honed finishes. We point that out to your designer when a client picks a near-black honed top for a busy kitchen, and we leave care instructions with every install so the homeowner is not calling you about spots a month later.
Summer heat matters for outdoor kitchens and west-facing rooms. Some quartz products are rated by their manufacturers for indoor use only, and direct sun can discolor them over time. If your scope includes a patio bar or a commercial counter near a sunny storefront window, we will flag the material before it is ordered rather than after it fades.
Hill Country homes often pair stone counters with local limestone on walls, fireplaces and exterior kitchens, and the two need to be planned together so the countertop overhang and backsplash meet the stone cleanly. And on every job, silica dust is the issue nobody wants on their site. We cut wet in our own shop and cut to template so that dry field cutting at your job is the rare exception, which keeps dust out of your client's house and off your crew.
Work we fabricate for the trade

How a trade job runs
Drawings and quote
Send plans, elevations or a sketch with the material and sink specs. We return one firm written price, itemized for your markup.
Template on your date
Once the cabinets are set and level, we laser template on the day your crew books, and issue the shop drawing for sign off.
Fabrication
Cut, edged and polished in our Austin shop, typically five to ten working days from an approved template with material in hand.
Delivery or install
Collect or take delivery for your own setters, or our crew installs, seams and attaches sinks, then walks the work with your site lead.
Questions contractors ask us
Can you fabricate only and let my own crew install?
Yes. We template, cut, edge and polish in our Austin shop and release the finished pieces labelled by room and position, either for collection or delivered to your site. We do strongly prefer to take the template ourselves, because the fit is only as good as the measurement it was cut from.
Will you work from my designer's or cabinet shop's drawings?
We quote from them and use them to prepare the shop drawing, but we cut from a template of the cabinets as installed. The drawing tells us the intent, the template tells us the room. Where the two disagree, we raise it with you before cutting rather than guess.
How quickly can you template once my cabinets are in?
We book templating to the date your crew gives us, and hold it. If the cabinets are not ready, call before the date and we move the slot. A template taken off boxes that are not level or fastened produces a file we cannot stand behind, so it is worth the reschedule.
Will you deal with my client directly?
Only if you want us to. On trade jobs our default is to talk to you or your site lead, quote to you, and show up as your countertop crew. If you would rather your client visits our shop to see their slab or picks a color with us, we are happy to host them on your behalf.
Can you take on small jobs like a single vanity or a bar top?
Yes. A single bathroom vanity, a laundry top or a bar counter is normal trade work for us, and small pieces can often be cut from remnants of materials already in our shop, which is worth asking about when the color is flexible.
Can you provide proof of insurance for my files?
Yes. We are licensed, insured and bonded, and we can supply documentation of our insurance for your records or for a property manager or owner who asks for it before we come on site.
What happens if a measurement changes after the template?
Tell us as soon as you know. If nothing has been cut, we revise the shop drawing and the price change comes back to you in writing before we proceed. If a piece has already been cut, we will tell you plainly whether it can be modified or needs to be remade, and what that means for the date.
Send us your next countertop job
